one record indicates that 4 children were born to first three mgs
John Morgan Petty was one, other possible children: J. A. Petty
in Benton Co., AR and Nora who lived in Kansas
abt 1882 he seems to have moed to Neodesha, Kansas where he md
his mother was one of John C. Petty's previous wives, it is believed that she died when he was about 18 mos. old
had daughter: Francis Petty NIXON

1880 census of Sebastian Co., Arkansas indicates that he was born in
Tennessee and that his parents were born in South Carolina
1880 census also indicates that he is divorced and living in the household
of Jas. E. Wikerson as his uncle
1880 census of Sebastion Co., AR lists him as being 41 yrs old
written on photocopy of 1880 census: "I am certain that he died in 1925. If
this was this is he the his age in wrong becasue he was 102 when he died.
The Ada could be my grandmother. She was born 11 Nov 1871 however her
name was Ida.

Ida also gave as her birthplace in different census's: Missouri & Tennessee
listed as being age 8 in the 1880 census of Sebastion Co., Arkansas
