Cemetery is 2 or three miles due West of the Redden Cemetery. "Little Petty" sign says Russell: Drive south from Interstate 40 on Route 48: initially there are lots of curves in the road then it straightens out and you cross Beaver Creek- the "intersection" of New Beaver creek on the right and Chilton Road on the left would appear to be driveways, rather than roads. Ther is a small black and white sign on the right for the Russell Cemetery. There is no known access and it sits within a chain link fence within a field, which itself is completely and thouroughly fenced with barbed wire and a locked fiel gate. The hous on the Chilten Road & Route 48 was occupied by a renter. Mike (2005) James Ausin Petty's tombstone is on the right hand side toward the far back ( when you walk into the cemetery.
