Guy Petty in a taped interview said that-" Ben Petty was born on july the 21, 1903, and he was borned down there by the old Petty Place and he married Exie Brewer. They had 2 boys and 2 girls: Lois Petty -down there in the graveyard is his daughter and the other 3 is still living-and his youngest boy is the same age as my daughter- which was -would be born in '27 (1927) and the other boy was-would be 2 years older than that. He was born in '25 (1925). And in 1958 were still living. The younger girl was born in 30, 33 or 34, somwhere along in there her nams is June. Wilburn and Dwayne is the 2 oldes boys now Ruth."
Ben lives (d) in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. He and his wife separated about 25 years ago. (referenced from 1958).
