1Cemetery Record.
Elizabeth Finch is buried across the road from the church, in a plot owned by the Thompson family. Mr. Thompson's wife, also named Elizabeth Finch, was a cousin to Elizabeth Finch, the wife of William Litton Petty. Her tombstone is located on the north west side of the cemetery, and was in rather bad shape. Her tombstone gave her year of birth as 1866, however her actual year of birth is closer to 1863.2Marriage Record, Marriage Records Maury County, TN.
