Children were: 1. James Petty married Nancy Bomar on June 24, 1819 in Halifax Co, Va.
2. Zebedee Petty married Margaret Walne on Jan 7, 1819 in Halifax Co, VA
3. Elizabeth, who md. Lazarus Brown, of Halifax Co., VA.
There has been satisfactory evidence contributed to the court that Mildred Petty was a penisoner of the United States at the rate of $80 annual, was a resident of the county and died in the county of Halifax in the state of Virginia, and died in the county in the year 1840 on the 19th of July. That she left three children whose names were James Petty, Zebidee Petty (sic) and Elizabeth Brown, who are of lawful age.
