Cinderella and Caleb are buried in the Isabella Cemetery but they do not have a headstone.
Cinderella Jane Petty and Caleb Weden Mefford moved to Ozark Co., Missouri. they settled in Isabella and built a log house which is still standing (2002). When I first saw it in 1951 it was in bad shape and now it is very bad. The people that live on the land where it stands have been a big help to mee in keeping up the small Satterfield Cemetery which is located across the road from the old Mefford house. My G-grandfather, John Henry Satterfield, deeded 1/2 acre of land for the cemetery. I can only find 6 graves but I believe there could be more. I go down twice a year to clean it up and poke and dig and I did find one buried about a foot deep. So, there could be more. The small plot is fenced in now. But, I want to fence in the 1/2 acre so I can keep it up.

When Liz went to check on her baby, she found her sitting there feeding her milk and bread to a big black snake. His name as a doctor was spread far and wide. Sol was goo friends with the indians, and it is said that he learned a lot about medicine from them. Aunt Liz had been married before and had a little girl. When the little girl was just big enought to walk and talk a little, Aunt Liz gave her some bread and milk to eat one day and the little girl took it out on the porch. When Liz went to check on her baby, she found her sitting there feeding her milk and bread to a big black snake. When Aunt Liz's little girl was only two years old, she died and a few years later her husband died leaving Liz alone until she met and married Sol Petty, her second husband.
