Petty, Kiziah B. Petty & Mary A. Petty, are minors, underage & unmarried, that so far as your petitioner is informed and believes, their said father did not by Deed or Will appoint any guardian for any of said children, nor has any been appointed by any court for them since: Your petitioner is the mother of said minors, that she and they all reside together in this county: that the petioner has been informed that there is a small interest, or estate, to which they are entitled: coming from their Grandfather JAMES PETTY, IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, amounting to not exceeding $20.00 each; that it is necessary, for the purbose of obtaining their said interst, that the letters of guardianship for said children be frist obtained her: She there-fore prays said Letters, and taking the oath prescribed by law and entering into three several bonds according to the Statue and Duty Bond.
