Steve Baker of Phoenix, Arizona sent the following information from the Quarles Family Bible with the following explanation that is duly signed by a Notary Public:
County of Los Angeles I, G.B. Quarles son of James Monroe Quarles and wife Nancy Jane Quarles , now living at Los Angeles California, do herby certify, that I am in possession at the time of the family bible of James Monroe and Nancy Jane Quarles, that the foregoing lists of dates, births and marriages , I have truly transcribed from the said Family Bible. The Notary Publice in the said County and state do herby certify, that Gusave B. Quarles is well known to me, and that he signed the foregoing instrument in my presence; that he presented to me the family Bible and theat the items above are recorded in the said bible and are truly transcribed there-from. In witness whereof, I have set my hand and Seal OF THE OFFICE in Nort Hollywood, California, this the September 17th 1935.
